Senior Pastor: Chris Calizo
My name is Chris Calizo, and I am honored to currently serve as senior pastor of Salinas Full Gospel Church. My wife, my rock, and partner in ministry is Diana Calizo. We have three beautiful children—Mayci, Samantha, and Zachary.

As a young teen, I felt the call to both pastor and teach. God has blessed me with the opportunity to serve in both capacities. I’ve humbly served as senior pastor of SFG since 2012, and I’ve taught in the public school system as a middle school teacher since 2009. I have a bachelor’s degree in Church Leadership from Bethany University, a teaching credential in Biological Sciences, and I’m currently pursuing a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University. Previously I served as youth pastor, worship leader, and associate pastor under pastor Amor Racilis.
None of these things, however, make me feel any more worthy or qualified for God’s call on my life than the next guy. I understand that it is only by God’s grace that I’ve been saved and chosen to serve in His Kingdom. Nothing of substance or lasting impact will come to fruition without the wisdom of His Word and the power and leading of the Holy Spirit. Just like all of his children, God has called me to worship him through obedience. So that is my life’s mission, to live a life of worship through living a life of obedience.
“One thing I desire of the Lord, this one thing will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life; that I may behold the beauty of the Lord, and inquire in His temple” (Psalm 27:4).

My hope for our church is simply this: that we demonstrate the same love and compassion towards others as God has towards us.
